So, according to Changi airport, we had 2.5M Singaporeans in 1981 (I wonder how they distinguished them from non-SG).

What was the population growth over the past 30 years?

Caeden talks

A few weeks ago when I was sleeping with Caeden, I got woken up when he started hitting my hand for non-apparent reason. This resulted in my chastising but it happened a few more times when I decided to probe further.

As normal, when I asked him why he had hit me, he remained diplomatically silent. Based on a hunch I asked, 'is it because daddy is snoring?'

Nod.

'Is it very loud?'

Nod again.

'Daddy will try, but you need to stop hitting me ok?'

'Ok.'

Since I 'got his message', he has stopped hitting me and been providing lots of feedback:

• 'Daddy, when u sleep, please don't snore in my ear ok?'
• 'Daddy, can u snore a bit softer?'
• 'Daddy, when i sleep over here, can u roll over?'
• 'Daddy, the sound coming out of your nose is too loud.'
